calcSD
Penis Percentile Calculator
About the website
calcSD is a website that tries to collect and present the most reliable and accurate data we have so far in regards to the human penis size. The data available on this site is an aggregate of many different academic sources. We are always looking for new studies to add, and we also analyse each one's methodologies to catch any possible mistake that might invalidate their results.
We try to intuitively demonstrate what the actual average dick size is and how it is distributed, and we also explain what calculations are done on each dataset. Through this, we hope to give people a better sense of perspective of how big they actually are, and those around them as well!
Most of us are conditioned to believe that the average size is much higher than it actually is, not only because of most adult online media claiming inhuman sizes, but also because many guys out there lie about their size, which ends up distorting the scale even further.
These problems put an unrealistic amount of pressure and insecurity towards most guys around the world as they worry they might not measure up to others or that they'll be unable to have a satisfying sex life due to their size, when in reality, most of those guys already have a size big enough to satisfy their partners and the only thing preventing them from actually going forward is their own warped view on the matter.
Hopefully through the data provided here, you'll have a better grasp about penis sizes in general and you'll be able to tell apart those who are being genuine about their claims and those who are trying to deceive you.
A bit of history and thanks
This website took heavy inspiration from other websites such as:
- How long is my schlong?
- abovethemeans' volume calculator
- SizeMeUp.info
calcSD was made on my spare time as a quick fun little side project that I never expected to get very far or be as useful as it is ended up being. It was made when I was still learning HTML and JavaScript, and it definitely wasn't made with scalability in mind. v3.0 was made as a more interactive, responsive and modern update, while still keeping the website as lightweight as possible. Plus, it's much easier for us to update it too!
Although I used to maintain the datasets on this site once upon a time, most of it is being done by /u/FrigidShadow now, as he has a lot more knowledge about them than I do. Not only that, but he has put a tremendous amount of effort towards finding sources that contain reliable information for us, researching more than 100 studies to date! If that's not dedication, then I don't know what is.
I've also received a lot of help from folks over at /r/BigDickProblems and also many other people who happened to give some feedback about the site. Thank you all, your help is greatly appreciated!
